Salomons Estate was built in the 1850s by Sir David Salomons and transformed by his nephew, a scientist who brought electricity to the house in 1882. His private theatre, complete with a 1914 Welte organ, is now one of the most dramatic wedding rooms in the South East.
Choose from five licensed ceremony spaces, including the Terrace and lawn overlooking 36 acres of gardens, lakes and woodland. Receptions run from the intimate Conservatory to the Theatre for 220 seated and 350 in the evening.
With 47 en-suite bedrooms and six cottages, more than 110 guests can stay on the estate, and there is free parking for over 150 cars.

From £4,950 for an autumn or winter Monday to Wednesday Twilight wedding for up to 50 guests (Friday or Saturday in spring and summer £9,995). Full-day weddings are quoted to your guest numbers and date.
