This is a working summary while brideup is in preview. A full privacy notice will be published before launch.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry or book a viewing, we store your name, email, optional phone number, wedding date, guest numbers and message, and share them only with the venue you chose. Your shortlist is kept in your own browser unless you sign in.

What we never do

We never sell your details, never send your enquiry to venues you didn't choose, and never add you to marketing lists without asking.

Analytics

We count page views and clicks to show venues how their listing performs. These counts are not linked to you and set no cookies. Vercel Web Analytics also counts page views without cookies.

Cookies

We only set analytics cookies if you say yes when we ask. With your yes, Google Analytics sets _ga and _ga_1C3TQ5CYHH (up to two years) so we can see which pages are read and how many enquiries the site sends. We never send your name, email or message to Google. Analytics never loads in the planner, the venue portal, sign-in or RSVP pages. Signing in uses cookies set by Clerk, our sign-in provider, which are needed for your account to work.
