Brand guidelines
A door into the Garden of England
brideup is for couples marrying in Kent and Sussex. The arch is the doorway every couple walks through on the day. The colours come from the fields around the venues: hop gardens, poppies on the Downs, elderflower in June.
The logo
The arch, then the name in Gloock with “up” in poppy. Always lower case. Leave at least the width of the door clear on every side.
Colour
Mostly white and photographs. Hop for weight, poppy for the thing to press, and one bright band of elderflower or blossom a page.
#173D2F
The brand colour. The mark, bands and the footer.
#CF3F24
Actions. Buttons, the door in the arch, “up” in the name.
#F3D56B
The bright one. Highlights, one band a page, buttons on hop.
#F5F3EE
Quiet surfaces: panels, maps, empty photo frames.
#F6DDD3
A soft band for answers and reassurance.
#10241C
Text. A green-black, never pure black.
Type
Gloock for headings and the name: high contrast, set large, one weight. Schibsted Grotesk for everything you read and press, at 400 and 500.

The arch frame
The one shape we repeat. Big photographs beside text sit in an arch, so a page reads as brideup before the logo is seen. Cards and the hero stay square.
